Wizard IT Founded
1995 marked the beginning of Wizard Group’s journey with the founding of Wizard IT, our dedicated IT support division

1st Essex Office
Our first Essex office was opened in Billericay, allowing us to provide better IT support services for businesses in the home counties and recruit local professionals

Microsoft Partnership
Wizard IT joined the Microsoft Partner program

Wizard Group continued to grow, successfully attracting our first international customer, signalling our intent to expand around the world
David Root Exit
David Root exited from Wizard IT to venture into pastures new

To better serve customers around the UK capital, Wizard Group opened a large London office, expanding our team in the process – Covent Garden
Wizard Cloud Founded
Building on the success of Wizard IT, founder Paul Goldney decided to expand into the growing world of Cloud services by founding Wizard Cloud

Following the founding of Wizard Cloud, our first Cloud services customer was a momentous day and signified the beginning of our emphasis on the Cloud

Noticing a distinct lack of cyber security providers offering effective solutions, Wizard Cyber was founded to provide state-of-the-art and cost-effective solutions to any organisation

It didn’t take long for the first Wizard Cyber customer to come onboard, beginning a long and successful history of cyber security excellence which continues to this day
Passing of David Root

Wizard had been operating as a group for many years before this, but in 2020, Wizard Group was officially founded, formally bringing all of the companies together under one banner
25th Anniversary
2020 marked 25 years since Wizard IT was originally founded and the idea for Wizard Group was born. The entire company celebrated these 25 years together, and looked forward to many more years of success

After years of careful planning, Wizard expanded into Jordan in mid-2022, laying the groundwork for an expansion into the wider Middle East sector

The expansion into the Middle East began with the opening of our office in Amman, Jordan, one of the epicentres of cyber security and technological growth in the region
Amman SOC Opened
Further building on Wizard’s impressive SOC infrastructure, a brand-new, state-of-the-art SOC was opened in Amman, further improving our 24x7x365 support capabilities and bringing valuable capabilities to the region

Wizard Group expanded into the Asia-Pacific region with the establishment of its first Philippine office, strengthening our presence in a rapidly growing technology market. 2nd Jordan Office
The continued expansion of Wizard Group into the Middle East region has led to the opening of a new office location in Khalda, Jordan. The new office will serve as a centre of excellence, bringing together the brightest minds in artificial intelligence, information technology, and cybersecurity to develop cutting-edge solutions for clients throughout the region
1st Qatar Office
Wizard expanded its regional presence with the launch of our first Qatar office, strengthening our support for customers across the GCC and advancing our commitment to rapid local engagement. Building on our global SOC capabilities, Wizard opened a state-of-the-art Security Operations Centre in Qatar, enhancing 24×7 threat monitoring, incident response, and regional cyber defense coverage
